Have you ever thought about merging your business with another and creating a partnership? I have thought about it on several occasions, and even come close a few times, but it never seemed like the right fit until recently.
A little over a year ago, I got a call from a colleague who I’d worked with on some client projects for his own firm. We’d always gotten along well in business dealings, and he came to the table looking for someone to grow along with him. He knew he was ready for the next level of growth in his business, and he also knew that he couldn’t do it alone.
This was a tempting opportunity for me. A single brain can only get so far in this world, regardless of how strong and independent you believe you are. Having someone to bounce ideas off of, with the same mission and vision geared toward growth was what made me begin this process of partnership.
