Sarah Hansen is an Account Executive for Strategic Ink Public Relations. Sarah’s attention to detail and creative thinking blossomed in a variety of writing and editing classes at the University of Central Florida where she earned her bachelors degree in English.

As a former communications and content coordinator for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, she has two years of experience implementing communication plans and writing press releases, website copy and email blasts. During her time at the space center, Sarah was one of the initiators and communication leads for their new educational game “Cosmic Quest.”

When not in the office, Sarah enjoys writing for her blog, photography and fulfilling her dream to travel around the world one country at a time. She also currently serves as Secretary for the Florida Public Relations Association Space Coast Chapter.


"Best Practices and Tips for Twitter- How it impacts your business marketing"

  1. Engagement:We will discuss importance of "shout-outs", retweeting, conferences, tagging and hashtagging. We will also discuss how reach, impressions and engagement numbers work and how to increase all of these measurements. (As well as how to increase your Twitter following!)
  2. Messaging: Fitting your brand's message into 140 characters - structure and quick tips on how to cut characters (using & etc) (plus the importance of including a photo/video and a link)
  3. Frequency:How often should you tweet? We will also talk about live tweeting and "twitter chats" - how do they work and how best to do them?
