Networking: Strong Coffee, Strong Women – Personal Branding

Personal Branding is one of today's hottest professional development topics and it’s receiving a lot of press attention. Although initially a strategy for celebrities, it is now being widely used by job seekers, authors, small and large business owners, and entrepreneurs. Business professionals are finding value in branding themselves to accelerate relationship development, drive business development, and strengthen their thought leadership online and off. Entrepreneurs recognize they need to be self-aware and understand how to use their unique strengths to deliver the greatest value to their organization.

Counter to what many think, branding is not about creating a false image for the outside world. It’s about gaining clarity on your strengths, passions, values and skills and using this self- awareness to drive greater value for your career and your organization. To achieve your goals, you must demonstrate your value through everything you do and make an indelible mark on your internal and external constituencies. You must build a powerful and pervasive reputation among team members and with everyone with whom you interact.

During this meeting you will learn: * The truths and myths about personal branding   * Why developing a strong, authentic personal brand is essential in the 21st century market place  * The process of personal branding  *  How to assess your personal brand online and off

Networking: Strong Coffee, Strong Women – Using Public Speaking to Boost your Brand

Public speaking can be scary and intimidating, but if you’re starting or growing your business, it can be one of the most important elements of your marketing strategy. Presenting before an audience positions you as an expert in your field, showcases your brand, and invites follow-up and referrals (which leads to more sales).

Whether you're a novice or have given presentations before, whether you want to speak to 10, 100 or 1,000 people, whether your stage will be at a business group, industry conference, non-profit event or pitch competition, you'll learn how to find your signature idea, structure your presentation with stories, create an emotional connection with your audience, and confidently talk about what you do and why you do it.
