Finding Your Next Employee in a Job-Seeker’s Market

sylvia-garner-headshot-300dpiToday, with the unemployment rate for software developers  between 1-2 percent, we’ve had to come up with a whole new hiring process.

These days there are many online options available to job seekers. Based on our budgetary and business requirements, my company selected LinkedIn, and the cost was less than $500 per month. We ran our ad for two months and received about 70 applications.

I miss the days of finding a new employee within three days. However, with online tools like LinkedIn, small companies can find qualified employees, even in a highly competitive market such as software development.
